A very relaxing and once again pleasant trip up
Mount Baldy. The only downside was a very strong and gusty wind from the south that prevented us from ascending the ridge and doing the moderate downclimb. There was very little snow on the mountain, making the ascent quite easy. We saw some great places to do some climbing on the south side of the ridge. Once again, I was unable to do the traverse over to the south peak. The strong wind would have made it very dangerous without good protection. My fourth trip to the summit and I still find it to be a very enjoyable excursion.

Early start, so the Sun has yet to rise over the valley

Great weather and great views throughout the ascent

Mounts Kidd and Bogart to the west

Looking back at the bypass on the left side
