Mount Burns – July 27, 2007

Mountain height:           2936 m
Elevation gain:              1300 m
Ascent time:                  5:20
Descent time:                3:25

Solo scramble.

Cycled 12.5 km, with about 8 easy river fords, ascended the mountain via its southwest slopes/ridge, descended via the south slopes and drainage, and cycled 12.5 km back to the car (with about 8 easy river fords). Just thinking about the energy required to ascend this mountain makes me tired. I’m going to bed!
