Not much to
report here. I hadn’t been out in a month and a half and Mark had seen an almost four-month
absence from the mountains. We simply wanted a relatively short trip hopefully
with a trail broken most of the way up. Saddle Mountain was a perfect choice,
even though we knew the weather would be far from perfect. We had encountered
those conditions during on ascent 8 years earlier and were satiated to this day!
A good day of
much-needed exercise.
