This
trip appears on the Daffern’s Kananaskis Trails blog and was posted by
Brenda
Everitt. With a very limited time window to do something, this trip was an ideal choice.
The
trail (old logging road) was brutally easy to follow and the views of
the Spray
Lake area were pretty decent, although better views exist from points right
on the
actual lake. Clouds to the east made for some fairly atmospheric lighting.
Marushka
Lake was a little disappointing, partly because of the dreary weather
and
partly because snow was covering the beautiful colours of the lake. I’d
like to return here in the summer.
A decent day of exercise and respectable views.
